As an MSIB intern at Infinite Learning, Fajar has been assigned the position of Visual Graphic Designer. His tasks and activities involve the development of digital visual products that will be used for internal company needs. In more detail, his activities include creating creative concepts for visual communication media directed by mentors or clients, and then executing them using software applications. Execution can be digital or manual, collaborating with the creative director, manager, and social media team, modifying or improving designs directed by mentors or clients, and following the branding guidelines set by the company, including logos, visual identities, icons, and color palettes.
For the 6th batch of Infinite Learning interns accepted into the Visual Graphic Designer position, there are a total of 20 individuals, who will be divided into 4 project teams, each focusing on different projects. The four project teams are as follows:
- Project Team Merch
This team is responsible for designing the layout of products, both tangible and digital. Examples of outputs from the Merchandise Project Team include designing merchandise such as clothing or accessory products.
- Project Team Illustration Assets
This team is tasked with illustrating design assets to be used by other project teams. The outputs from the Illustration Assets Project Team are in the form of items or raw design materials, where illustrations must adhere to the company’s branding standards to ensure that the company holds full copyright to avoid copyright infringement.
- Project Team Social Media Specialist
This team is responsible for the visual management of the company’s social media accounts. The Social Media Specialist Project Team is tasked with designing visual content for all of the company’s social media accounts to make them attractive and enhance the company’s branding quality.

For himself, he has been directed to join the Illustration Assets Project Team, which consists of 6 members. In more detail, the Illustration Assets Project Team emphasizes fulfilling the desired asset illustrations from mentors, creative directors, managers, as well as requests or demands from other project teams. The media used includes graphic design software applications such as Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw, Adobe Photoshop, or any other application that they are proficient and comfortable with (interns are free to use any application).
The illustrations created by this team as their main project are highly universal, as the purpose of asset illustrations is to generate as many assets as possible to serve as commercial reserves whenever the company requires them. However, for the internship activities in batch 6, the Illustration Assets Project Team has performance guidelines that serve as principles and achievement targets in their work. These guidelines include design themes, icon identities, and the company’s color palette. The designated design theme is “Indonesian Culture”, the company’s icon identity is visualized as cartoon dolphins, and the company’s color palette consists of purple, blue, yellow, and turquoise green.
