Nowadays, every individual seems to have different feelings in accepting and expressing sadness or disappointment. Eliminating or manipulating negative emotions with positive thoughts is certainly very dangerous if done continuously. This is one of the characteristics of the opposite of positivity, toxic positivity.

Toxic positivity is the belief that no matter how difficult and bad the situation is, one should still think positively. The main factor in toxic positivity is through speech. One of its characteristics is the frequent utterance of advice that seems positive, but in fact causes negative emotions.

Through the description above, Novia is interested in making toxic positivity a source of ideas for creating graphic artwork. Humans have a variety of emotions, and it is not easy for us to always think positively in all situations. Accepting without rejection will be much better than continuing to reject by forcing ourselves to always be okay.
