As an idea for printmaking art silkscreen printing

Humans in their bodies certainly have different personalities. Personality is a trait that determines a person’s individuality and adjustment to the surrounding environment. Jung argues that personality is divided into two types, namely introverts and extroverts. Introverted is a personality that tends to focus on the internal world, while extroverted personality is a personality that focuses on the external world.

Introverts are often misinterpreted by society as individuals who are anti-social, indifferent to the surrounding environment, haters of people, and so on. But in reality, introverted individuals actually just prefer calmness and solitude because it can enhance the creative process and focus on doing things. The misperceptions by the public can illustrate the lack of understanding about introverted personalities and their characteristics. This inspired the author to create a work titled “Introverts as a Source of Idea for Silkscreen Graphic Art Creation”. The author will convey the form of an introver’s self-unrest through a silkscreen graphic artwork by visualizing the characteristics of introverts in order to educate and straighten out people’s misperceptions.
