RUSANI (House of Art Literature) is a media or competition platform that invited youth to work and achieve from home during a pandemic, especially in the fields of literature and art. RUSANI is an independent event planner and organizer of monthly national-level competitions that are open to the public.
RUSANI held this event online. Participants who want to register for the competition submit their work through the platform that has been provided and is under the due date. There were seven categories of competitions, including verse writing, poetry writing, poetry reading, digital posters, drawing, speech, and photogenic (photography). The awards received included 1st place, 2nd place, 3rd place, 1st contender, 2nd contender, 3rd contender, best category, most favorite, selected, talented, inspired, and creative.
Silfi Rike Octavia, a student of the Study Programme of Fine Arts, Faculty of Cultural Studies (FCS) Universitas Brawijaya (UB) class of 2021, participated in this event independently and managed to get an award in the best category for poetry writing. Winners were announced through RUSANI’s Instagram social media (@rusani.id). In this competition, Silfi was honored with medals, trophies, certificates, and a special notebook for the winners. Her goal in participating in this competition is to practice her abilities and want to be more competent in the field she is currently living in.
