Exploration of 12 Creative Works of Fine Arts Students at Brawijaya University at Pethak Art Space 2023

In the art exhibition that took place at Pethak Art Space, 12 works by Fine Arts students from Brawijaya University attracted the attention of visitors. This exhibition was held at Pethak Art Space for 3 days, namely 13 to 15 December 2023. This exhibition was held by Fine Arts students class of 2021, Brawijaya University named Arumdalu. This exhibition is a requirement for the final assignment of one of the courses, namely Experimental Art.

Siti Fitrohul Izza, one of the Fine Arts students and the exhibition organizing team, stated that the exhibition had been carried out smoothly and as expected. Even though the exhibition was held in the midst of busy student activities, various works were completed on time with maximum results.

Fitroh also said that as one of the artists in the timeline exhibition, the process of creating work was a challenge in itself. Starting from how to respond to a theme to create a work concept, to realizing the concept into a meaningful work.

A visitor from Batu City named Mita also enjoyed this exhibition. Mita admitted that she was amazed by the installation art works at this exhibition because this was her first time attending an installation exhibition. “When I first entered the gallery, I was immediately captivated by the arrangement of the installations which depict life’s journey from the dark past to the struggles of the present. This timeline concept gives an additional dimension to each installation, guiding me as if I were in a personal reflection on life. According to Mita The “Timeline” exhibition also succeeded in creating a spiritual and reflective feel. “The creative space design provides an interactive experience, as if I were reliving every point in time that frames my life, so overall, the “Timeline” Installation Exhibition provides an immersive and immersive experience encourage inner exploration. I left this gallery feeling inspired, carrying a trace of new knowledge about myself and ready to face the future with courage and optimism.
