Dedicated Aesthetic #2 is an exhibition on the 2nd annual agenda of the Fine Arts Study Program, Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Universitas Brawijaya. The exhibition which was opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Prof. Ir. Ratya Anindita, Ph.D. It was held on 11-18 December 2016 on the 2nd floor of the Faculty of Cultural Sciences with the theme “Rambate Rata Hayo” which means togetherness or mutual cooperation.

The exhibitors consisted of a selection of works by students, lecturers, and invited artists from the cities of Malang and Batu. This exhibition presents 14 works of invited artists, 8 works of lecturers and 20 works of students. The event, which was attended by 2600 visitors, is expected to be a media for art consolidation and communication between senior, young and campus artists, both institutionally and personally.

Mrs. Femi Eka Rahmawati, S.Sn, M.Pd as the head of the Fine Arts Study Program expressed her hope that in the future both academics and art practitioners will synergize with each other, not only through works, but also in the form of discourse, studies and culture. He also said that the Dedicated Aesthetic #2 event received a very good appreciation from the artists who saw the purpose of this exhibition as a new breakthrough in having a family in the art world. The artists added that through this exhibition, students are expected to be able to add insight in applying their scientific studies in the future, especially in the arts.
