Art Exhibition “Forever Young” by Unicorn Gallery Featuring A Fine Arts Student from UB

(Thursday, 21/03/24) From November 11th to December 11th, 2023, an art gallery popularly known as Unicorn Gallery held an art exhibition titled “Forever Young“. The exhibition took place at Wisma Geha Building, Jl. M.H. Thamrin Jl. Timor No.25, Central Jakarta.

This marks the first time Unicorn Gallery, a part of the Unicorn Young Collectors Club (UYCC), organized an exhibition in DKI Jakarta. Previously, the gallery typically held exhibitions in Surabaya, East Java.

Hikmahtiar David Syahputra or David, is one of the artists from Study Programme of Fine Arts’ FIB UB (class of 2019), that got selected to participate in this exhibition. Two of David’s artworks were displayed in the exhibition space, intended for sale among young collectors, aligning with Unicorn Gallery’s audience.

Moreover, David also participated in the Artist Talk event held on November 12, 2023, a day after the Unicorn Gallery’s opening. He explained his creative process and shared his experiences as an artist and a UB Fine Arts student in Malang with the attendees who enlivened the gallery’s opening. He also expressed his appreciation to Unicorn Gallery for inviting him since mid-2023.
